Itineraries for your Wilderness Trip
Most of our trips take place at
Canada's famous
Algonquin Provincial
Park in Ontario, Canada. The Park is approximately 525 miles north
of Wooster, Ohio - USA (465 miles from Cleveland, Ohio)It is suggested that your physical condition be sound. These trips are physical, but not extremely demanding in nature. We typically travel for two days , rest for one, then travel again for two more days. (The rest day is allowed for a canoe paddle to view wildlife, or maybe just kick back and read a book.)
trips include your guide service and up to date,
well maintained equipment. Included are a canoe, tent, sleeping pad, sleeping
bag, backpack, lightweight bent shaft paddle, personal life vest and all
meals for the 5 day trip. We also include transportation from the Wooster,
or Cleveland, Ohio area. Your interior camping permit, and camping at a local
campground for one night before and after the canoe trip are included. The
local campground has hot showers and other facilities.
We can also meet you at Toronto International Airport and proceed to the wilderness from there.
We leave on a Sunday, drive to Algonquin ,and camp Sunday night at a local campground. The canoe trip begins on Monday morning. We paddle out on Friday and again camp locally Friday night and travel home on Saturday.
