Itineraries for Wilderness Canoe Trips
Most of our trips take place at
Canada's famous
Algonquin Provincial
Park in Ontario, Canada. The Park is approximately 525 miles north
of Wooster, Ohio - USA (465 miles from Cleveland, Ohio)While these trips are physical, they are not extremely demanding in nature. It is suggested that your physical condition be sound. We typically travel for two days , rest for one, then travel again for two more days. The rest day is allowed for a canoe paddle to view wildlife, or maybe just kick back and read a book.
All our trips include both guide service and up to date, well maintained equipment. Included are a canoe, tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, backpack, lightweight bent shaft paddle, personal life vest and all meals for the 5 day trip. We also include transportation from the Wooster, or Cleveland, Ohio area and your interior camping permit.
If more convenient, we can also meet you at Toronto International Airport and proceed
to the wilderness from there.
We leave on a Sunday, drive to Algonquin, and stay Sunday night at a local Hotel. The canoe trip begins on Monday morning. We paddle out on Friday, stay at a Hotel Friday night and travel home on Saturday.
Late June through September. Contact us for details or to make arrangements for your canoe trip.
