Wilderness Guide, Canoe & Dogsledding Adventures

Meet Our Dog Team

Here are the real Stars of the Show!  There's a unique relationship that exists between a musher and his dogs.  During a race, man and animal must work together — be of the same mind, working toward the same goal.  It takes years — years of hard work, years of learning, years of building trust — to create a winning dog team.  To us, all this effort is worth it.  These are much more than members of our team; they are our friends.

We will require 2,000 dog booties to run the Iditarod.  Dogs need this special foot gear to protect their paws from ice and snow during the race.  This is an area where you can help.

You can be a sponor to any one of these dogs.  Just pick your dog.  Sponsorship is $250.  For your generosity, you will receive:
                A Picture of your Dog,
                Your Dog's Harness,
                A Copy of our E-Newsletter,
                Sponsorship Listing on this Website,
even ... a Pair of Booties from the Race.
